Goldman Sachs just opened up its investing app to the hoi polloi: anyone with $1.000 can now become a client of the upmarket Wall Street giant. Until recently it took at least $1.000.000 to open an individual retail account with GS.
Sure, an app in your phone is not the same as a relationship with a professional investment advisor, but Goldman’s move is really telling....
